Admail Express, Inc. (AdMail) was founded in March 1973 by brothers Bruce and Phillip Schott. Incorporated in November 1973 in Sacramento and Burlingame CA, AdMail has remained a privately-held, family owned business.
In June 1981, Brian Schott, Bruce’s son, joined the company as a sales representative after graduating with a B.S. in Printing Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. In 1987, Brian became the General Manager and in 1995, with Bruce’s retirement from daily operations, Brian became the President In 1996, Karolyn Schott Cherryhomes joined AdMail as Marketing Manager. Bruce remains active in a sales capacity in the Sacramento and Northern California markets.
AdMail currently employs a staff of 75 full time people and works with local agencies to utilize additional people on an as-needed basis. We run two staggered shifts per day, 5 days per week to provide over 100 hours of regular time production and allows for overtime capabilities.
AdMail occupies a 12 year old 55,000 square foot building located in a well-kept, easily accessible industrial park in Hayward near major freeways. Recently ranked as the 13th largest commercial printer in the San Francisco Bay Area, AdMail is one of the largest completely in-house direct mail processors in California.
Experienced teams headed up by Mr. Gregg Howard, Production Manager and Mr. Mark Ciu, Client Services Manager, are responsible to meet and exceed the expectations of approximately 200 active clients. They work closely with the United States Postal Service to process over 120 million pieces of mail per year utilizing in-house full-time Postal Service employees to verify and monitor the mail.
AdMail has won numerous industry awards and actively supports both trade and philanthropic local, state and national organizations financially and with the volunteer efforts of the AdMail staff and ownership.
